How was it presented? The closest I could find was Harry Dean Stanton, who is in his 70's. He's got movie and TV credits dating back to the late 50's, according to IMDB. A few movies from the 80's that he was in are: Red Dawn (1984), Repo Man (1984), Pretty in Pink (1986), and Escape from New York (1981).
I don't know if this is who they were refering to, so if anyone else knows, please let us know.
